Personality, class, and charisma, make Maryland native, Maria Rose,
a quality entertainer. She has recorded 10 albums,
hosted her own TV show and has appeared on numerous national television
and radio shows. Maria and her group have shared the stage with a countless
number of national recording artists. Because of her ongoing volunteerism
with various organizations, Maria received the Presidential Points
Of Light Award.
Through the
USO/Dept. of Defense, Maria and her band were chosen from musical artists
nationwide to entertain our Armed Forces around
the world, taking a 'touch of home' to our troops on 11 different overseas
tours..!
She and husband,
Danny Elswick, can be seen often on the "Midwest Country"
TV Show on the RFD-TV network, and were inducted into the Midwest Country
Music Hall of Fame. They also received the "Gospel CD of the Year"
award in the Midwest.

Maria Rose and Danny Elswick perform at many festivals,
conventions, Military & corporate events and more. Maria & Danny
were also inducted into the Midwest Country Music Hall of Fame,
and received the 'Gospel CD of the Year' Award in August, 2009.
Their music performances cover a wide variety of music, including oldies,

Maria
and Danny also formed "PerformAbilities", a non-profit, 501(c)(3)
tax-exempt organization, which was founded in August,1998 to provide
entertainment to those with physical and mental disabilities. Such individuals
and groups are encouraged to participate in shows and performances,
thereby building confidence and self-esteem.
Maria's song, You Are The Flame, featuring 12 Special Olympics athletes
from the Maryland and D.C. area is available on CD and single cassette.

Achievements: Charting the Eastern region with " Can We Still
Be Friends", written by Bill Anderson. This song received extensive
airplay in the Maryland, Delaware, DC and Virginia areas. On Maryland's
WPOC, it stayed in the Top Ten for twelve weeks, peaking at #3. On WISZ,
another Maryland station, it became and remained #1 for three weeks.
Career Highlights: Appearances on the WWVA Wheeling
Jamboree, the Ernest Tubb Radio Show, the "You Can Be a Star" talent
show on TNN. Package shows have included appearances with Loretta Lynn,

This is Holly, our pet Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie). Her favorite thing
is chasing flashlights and reflections. She also knows when we call
out for pizza because she sits on her bench by the window and watches
for him.
(We lost Holly on August 11, 2000 but she will be in our thoughts forever.)
